Rental Solution for Crowd Control
Stanchion Rental in Banff
Banff runs a destination calendar — resort conferences, incentive programmes, destination weddings and a festival programme that draws internationally. The equipment expectations here are higher than anywhere else we deliver, because most of these events are being photographed for someone’s brand.

Events we supply in Banff
Resort and conference work is the core: multi-day corporate programmes at the hotels, incentive trips, gala dinners and award nights. Rope stanchions and carpet runners carry the arrivals for those, and belt stanchions handle registration on the conference floor.
The second stream is destination weddings and private functions, which want the same equipment for the same reason. The third is town and festival programming — street events, film and arts festivals, and the crowd management that goes with them, which is barrier work.

Delivery to Banff
Banff is a national park town, and that is the part worth planning around: access, permits and loading windows are tighter than anywhere else we deliver, and hotel docks are shared. Send us the venue’s loading instructions with the enquiry — the schedule is usually set by them rather than by the drive.
What delivery to Banff comes to rests on two things: the address and the size of the order. A ceremony aisle and a full conference arrival with a routed entrance are the two ends of the range. Send the hotel or venue address with your dates and the mountain run is itemised on the quote.
Book ahead for peak dates — the summer season and the winter conference and festival programme both fill early. Outside those there is no minimum notice, so a Banff date is the one worth confirming furthest ahead.
Banff questions
Can you deliver into Banff National Park?
Yes. What we need from you is the venue’s loading instructions and access window — park and hotel logistics decide the schedule here far more than the drive does. Send those with the enquiry and the timing is settled on the quote.
Which setup suits a gala or award night arrival?
Rope stanchions along both sides of a carpet runner is the standard arrival, and it is what the red carpet package is for — the runner for the walk with posts and velvet ropes flanking it. Quantities depend on the length of the walk and are worked out on the quote.
Do you supply for destination weddings at mountain venues?
Yes. Rope stanchions and a runner are the usual order, and the practical detail is the ground: we fix runners down with professional double-sided tape so they hold firm and lift afterwards without marking the surface. Tell us the length of the aisle and what it crosses.
