Rental Solution for Crowd Control

Event Package Rentals in Calgary

Some events do not need one product, they need a combination — stanchions and a carpet runner working together at the same entrance. A package is that pairing bought as a single item, rather than assembled by you in the hope the parts match.

Gold rope stanchions with red velvet ropes along an indoor red carpet runner

Red carpet package

Arrivals, premieres, galas and award nights — anything a camera is pointed at.

Rope stanchions and a carpet runner, together:

  • A runner laid the full length of the walk
  • Rope stanchions along both sides
  • Velvet ropes between the posts

This is the combination that makes an entrance photograph well. The runner supplies the surface and the edge; the rope line keeps everyone off it so the frame stays clean. On its own each does half the job. A runner with nothing flanking it fills up with people, and a rope line on bare floor is just a queue.

The red carpet package is quoted against the walk itself — how long it is, how wide, and how long it stays down. Send the space and we will put the combination together and price it as one thing.

Belt stanchions carrying blank sign toppers during an event setup

Crowd control package

Festival gates, registration desks, concerts, doors under pressure.

Belt stanchions and toppers, together:

  • Belt stanchions carrying retractable belts
  • Sign toppers riding on the posts

Posts and belts alone are not a queue. Stanchions give it shape and toppers give it a name — "line starts here", registration, check-in direction — so guests read where to go instead of being told. Unlabelled posts mean a staff member spends the evening saying the same sentence.

The crowd control package is quoted against the queue — how many entry points you are running, what each one has to be labelled as, and how long the doors are open. Send the shape and we will price the combination.

Which package fits your event

It comes down to what the entrance is doing. If it is a moment — guests arriving, being photographed, walking in rather than waiting — that is the red carpet package. A premiere, a gala, an awards evening, a launch with a photo wall — the entrance is a piece of the event, not just the way in, and it wants a runner with a rope line either side of it.

If it is a volume problem — festival gates, registration desks, doors opening onto a crowd that is already waiting — that is the crowd control package. The stanchions draw the lane and the toppers explain it, and that combination is what keeps a busy door moving without staff repeating themselves all evening.

Plenty of events are both. A conference with an awards dinner runs a registration queue by day and an arrival by night; those are both packages, and they arrive on the same delivery.

Building something else

Both packages go out as composed. Where neither fits the event, order what you need individually and the whole lot is quoted as one order:

FAQ

What is in each package?

Rope stanchions with a carpet runner make up the red carpet package — the runner for the walk, posts and velvet ropes along both sides of it. Belt stanchions with retractable belts make up the crowd control package, plus toppers mounted on the posts for your queue signage.

Why take a package rather than the items on their own?

Because the pairing is what actually does the job, and ordering it as one thing removes the guesswork about what goes with what. If the spec is already clear in your head, ordering item by item is entirely normal and is quoted exactly the same way — the package is a shortcut, not a requirement.

Are the contents adjustable?

Packages come as configured. Want a different combination? Order the items on their own from the product pages and it is quoted as a single order — same delivery, same contact. Belt stanchions → · Rope stanchions → · Carpet runners →

How is the right quantity arrived at?

From your entrance. Send the event address, your dates and a sketch or photo of the space if you have one, and the quantities are worked out against your event and come back itemised on the quote.

What colours are available?

Runners come in five — red, white, black, green, navy — and the rope colour follows the post you choose — see carpet runners → and rope stanchions →. Describe the look on the enquiry and we will confirm the pairing before anything is booked.

Does a package arrive set up?

We deliver across Calgary and Alberta and collect after your event. Having our crew set out and strike is optional — send the event address and your access window and it is standing before doors, or we can drop it off and leave the placing to your team.

How early should a package be ordered?

A package pulls two product lines onto one order, so it is worth booking early on any date when either of them is busy — gala season and the summer run especially. Otherwise there is no minimum notice — send the dates and we will come back on what both lines can cover.
